Ansel Adams

What type of Photography does Ansel master in? The Photography that Ansel Adams master in is texture. How does he bring out the textures in his objects? Ansel Admas uses black and white to bring out the textures in his objects. What is your opinion on his work? My opinion on his work is that it looks like he really works hard on it. Its nice. By the way the picture looks, it looks like he worked really hard to make sure that he wanted the picture to represent texture because you can see the each and every piece of texture that in his art work. Why do you feel this way? I feel this way because his art work is really good and he puts his time and effort in his art to make sure that he gets every piece of texture. He makes the picture look so easy and the clouds in  Mount Williamson, Sierra Nevada, from Manzanar, California, 1944 just look perfect with he picture. His work is just amazing.

Reflection Question!

1. The best picture from this assignment was between the apples or the Jesus, because It just out better than the rest. I put more work into it. Its also better because I rushed taking these and the way i edited the picture maybe not the best but its better than the other one. 2. The weakest picture was the picture that was hanging from my roof because you can barely see the picture because of the flash. Also, the way i edited it it doesn't match with the picture. 3. The weakest post can be improved in future assignments by not using the flash anymore and using natural lightening. 4.                                     This represents the rule of thirds because the top point hits the top right corner. Also, the bottom two left corner hit the bottom left and right. This represents the emphasis foreground because the back of the picture is blurred. This represents multiple subjects because there is different balls in the bowl and you can see each and every ball. This represents emphasis height and distance because i put the the bottom of the picture on the bottom line so that the picture will look bigger than what it already is. Falling Man

What do you think makes this photo part of Time Magazine's 100 Best Collection? I think the photo is the Magazines 100 best collection because it shows how scared people was during that time and period. Also, it showed what people would do to try to make it out. It was a quite photo. Also, there wasn't a lot of picture of people actively dying. Also, it was a peaceful photo.
What is the difference between a Snap Shot and Artistic Photography?  A snap shot is a quick picture, and a Artistic photography is when they don't just take the picture, they edit and put effects.
